Liked it a lot but...
My only real complaint is with the controls. Small motions are really hard to make and repeatedly dying because I accidentally pressed for a millisecond too long and ran too far gets frustrating pretty quickly. A simple 'run button' like in the 2D Mario games would have easily circumvented this.
Otherwise, awesome work.
Gread graphics but horrible gameplay
As amazing as the graphics are the gameplay brings down the score. The recoil is really annoying when firing from mid air.
That is one amazing tutorial. I was somewhat familiar with animation but I had never heard of cusioning, motion cushioning, the wire thingy and many other things. You've really helped me dude.
Even now I'm following your instructions, "Practice Practice Practice". Can't get it out of my head. Nice work.
BTW I found this tutorial from a link in the NG forums but it belongs in the NG tutorial collection. Add "Please recommend for tutorial collection" or something of that nature to your author comments so that it gets stashed in the tutorial collection and immortalized.

Your art style has a strange creepy aura to it, in a good way. The music and effects help add to this. Even though the jump lasts really long, I'm glad you made it that way as I'd have given up on the game if I'd missed a jump too many more times. Nice work. Keep it up.
The only complaint I have is about the dark areas. Really hard to see in some of them.
One of the best things to ever hit NG
This game is a damn good one. I like that the enemies can hit each other but aren't stupid enough to keep doing it. Its great that homing aerials from the bosses and some enemy attacks like the circular saw and fireballs and stuff can be used against the enemy by moving around strategically. You've got movement, controls and gameplay nailed, though I really think you should increase the rate at which the enemies leave organs as later phases really take a toll on health. A coop mode would make take this game to the next level of awesomeness though, but I'd suggest not making it possible for players to hit each other if you ever do it. Sountrack is awesome too as well as sound effets.

Kinda fun but a bit of a onetime thing
I actually kinda liked it. Although the game is nothing great, the filesize makes it a great time passer while loading something else.
This is a really awesome game. So many different ways to attack. However this game is pretty damn hard and I needed to use the cheap freak attack move repeatedly just to stay alive. First boss was pretty damn hard but the second boss was very predictable. Died at third boss but I'll definitely play again some day. I'd recomment giving more lives or atleast a way to get more lives.
